Etat Libre d’Orange represents Unity, Beauty, Conflict and Freedom.

Provocative perfumer, Etienne de Swardt partners with Montaigne Place, exclusively to bring to Nigeria the much talked about niche, French perfume – Etat Libre d’Orange; a collection of scents that dares to ask ‘’who do you want to be today?’’

Named after his birthplace, the Orange Free State in South Africa, Etienne d Swardt brings back memories from the struggle for Independence from British Rule in 1854. The Orange Free State ended in 1902 but its attitude lives on in Etat Libre d’Orange.

Etat Libre d’Orange represents Unity, Beauty, Conflict and Freedom.

Spirit and Style

Etat Libre d’Orange is Ambitious, Audacious, Passionate, Exuberant, and Liberated.

A Corner Perfumery

Etat Libre d’ Orange perfume house is situated at a corner in the centre of Paris; 69 Rue des Archives. Much of the brand strength and inspiration comes from this location, which also serves as a metaphor for the brand philosophy.

69 Rue des Archives is a space of contradictions: a shrine to authenticity and a home for fantasy.

69 Rue es Archives, 75003 Paris, France is located at the corner of all that is exciting and notorious in the quarter known as Le Marais. Each bottle of Etat Libre d’ Orange comes in the shape of the corner.

The Etat Libre d’Orange collection is designed To Disturb, To Touch, To Tempt, Thrill & Seduce.

These twelve monumental fragrances have surprising olfactory compositions, without any limitations in terms of creativity, raw materials, or expense. Each perfumery represents feelings, sexuality and eroticism with their aromas, their titles and their images.
