Going by the recent lacklustre performances of the Red Devils, the club’s top strikers have failed to score on a regular basis.

The Portuguese man is now planning to open the big wallet so as to lure former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez to Old Trafford when the January transfer window opens.

Luis Suarez is yet to put pen to paper for another contract at Barcelona, and Jose Mourinho is expected to face serious competition from top other managers who are also considering a bid for the South American star.

The Uruguayan star has netted a total of 10 goals for Barcelona so far this season in just 13 games.

Manchester United currently occupy seventh position on the premier League standings with 14 points after 9 games.

Meanwhile, the tactician has been charged with misconduct over comments he made about referee Anthony Taylor.

The ‘Special One’ made some comments prior to the game against Liverpool on October 17, a match which ended goalless.
In England, team managers are restricted from talking about match officials ahead of games and Mourinho is likely to face a ban, heavy fine or warning about future conduct.
