Patrice Evra could stay at Juventus this month despite reported interest from Manchester United , according to the Frenchman’s agent.

Evra has been linked with a return to Old Trafford after making just nine starts for Juventus so far this season.

The 35-year-old has hinted to could leave the Italian champions in the January transfer window in order to find more regular first-team football.

As well as United, Evra has also been linked with a move to La Liga to join Valencia. He won’t face Bologna on Sunday after being left out of the Juventus squad

But his agent, Federico Pastorello, insists that does not necessarily mean the left-back will leave this month.

He said: “It’s not certain he will leave Juventus. We’ll see what happens over the next few days.”
